Marketing Opportunities for Biotouch

From my point of view, an important way for the enterprise to sell its product and look for potential investors is to participate in events that allow the firm to exhibit its products and make the brand be known and recognized. This way potential investors or customers get to know the product that the brand is offering, and the applications of it. An important event that is coming soon is the EFIB2008, this could be a great opportunity for the enterprise to market itself and demonstrate the organization’s expertise in the field of biotechnology. What a better place to promote the product than these two days where most of the investors and customers will be gathered? I think this is a great opportunity to build networks and market the brand. The EFIB has opportunities for placing exhibition areas or sponsorship, this way the company profile could be raised and market opportunities could be created.

Macarena, I think that's a very good point.

Is this the homepage to EFIB?

Midsummer is coming. We are now living the longest days here in Finland (I hope that it does not cause sleeping disorders to our foreign partner, not familiar with nightless summers?).

We are travelling to Kuhmo (slightly eastward from Sotkamo) to have the 60 years's Celebration of my wife) and we'll be back again after Midsummer.

Service function of BIOTOUCH seems promising: both our customers from chemical and paper industry seem to regard personal service, connected with experience of industrial microbiology and biotechnology.

It is only imagination which limits the use of PMEU incubators. All kinds of storing trials in chemical industry may have benefit of it.

I have contacts to some international companies, selling products to P&P industry. They work either to develope solutions for the prevention of microbial activity or are suffering of microbiological problems in their own products.

Have a nice Midsummer!

Juha

Big changes happening in Finnish biotech. Did you hear about the changes at Kemira. One thousand people out of 10 000 have to go.

Kemira is active in Mexico. What could we write about it?

The Kemira CEO says, that they will focus on water. The company has to improve its profitability.

Kemira is probably planning to sell its painting operation: Tikkurila.

Water is globally a trendy product just like food. There is a major change happening. Technology, IT, Mobile products and Internet have been in the news.

In the future biotechnology will get more attention. Big changes are happening. Bitouch is looking at the week signals related to this change.

We've a biotech financing meeting in Helsinki June 26, 2008. I'll write more about it after the midsummer.

Have a great time.
